Hannah Espia-Farbova is a Filipino film and TV director, editor, writer, and producer. Hailed as an “impressive debut” by Variety, her 2013 debut feature Transit, premiered at the Busan International Film Festival to critical acclaim and was the Philippines’ entry to the 86th Academy Awards®. In 2018, Transit screened at the MoMA as part of the film series “A New Golden Age: Contemporary Philippine Cinema” and was ranked 11 out of 100 Best Filipino Films directed by Women in a 2019 poll by Filipino critics.

She is currently based in Vancouver, BC.
